Larry Meager (and Kay), Senior Pastor
Hi, Thank you for stopping by our web page. I began my ministry here in January of 2002, and enjoy very much ministering Christ to our Thousand Oaks Church and our community.
My ministry began 32 years ago in upstate New York. 10 years later, our family moved to San Jose, CA. There, we spent five years ministering to a wonderful inner city congregation. The last 13 years of our ministry were spent in Modesto, CA, with another wonderful congregation. My wife, Kay, taught 1st and 2nd grade at the K-12 schools in Milpitas and Modesto. Now she's teaching at the Conejo Adventist Elementary School. Modesto is where our three children spent their formative years. Geoff, our oldest, is 30 and married to a wonderful wife Sarah and works at Point Mugu. Greg is 26, married to a beautiful woman, Ericka Lee, and is the AD at Newbury Park Academy. Finally, the baby of the family is our 24 year old daughter Kristen, who is starting her masters in speech therapy this fall at Loma Linda.
I love families and young people. The most wonderful gifts are our families, our children, and the grace of Jesus Christ. Pastor Michael, Kristie and I want to model God's unfailing love to the members we serve at the Thousand Oaks Church.

Michael Brownfield (and Debbie), Associate Pastor
If you are looking for a church where you can learn to know God better and have opportunities to serve, you have come to the right place. Thousand Oaks Seventh-day Adventist Church is a wonderful church family. I have had the privilege of being Thousand Oaks’ associate pastor since January of 2000. Before coming to T. O., I pastored in Hawaii, Northern California and Washington State as a youth pastor, university chaplain, associate pastor and lead pastor. My work in T. O. mainly centers around congregational care, evangelism and preaching/teaching along with Pastor Larry. My greatest passion is to help people become fully committed followers of Jesus and assist the church in reflecting the multifaceted riches of God's love and grace (Eph. 3:10). My wife and I love ministry together. Between us, we have five adult children and seven grandchildren.

Kristie Hudema, Office Manager
Kristie grew up in Saint John, N.B. Canada, in a family of 6 children. Her sister, brother and herself are the youngest of the six. They are Triplets. Being a triplet made their lives very interesting. Kristie went through the Adventist school system, from a tiny 5 student elementary school, to Kingsway College, a high school in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Then off to Canadian Union College in LaCombe, Alberta, Canada, where she met her husband Phil Hudema.
They moved to Tampa, Florida where Phil worked as a P.E. teacher for 17 years at Tampa Adventist Academy. Kristie worked as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant for 13 years. God blessed them with two beautiful children; a son, Seth who is a sophomore in high school and a daughter, Madison who is in 7th grade. She said they truly are a gift from the Lord.
Then God had another surprise for them. They moved to Newbury Park, California where Phil is currently the principal at Conejo Adventist Elementary School and Kristie has the wonderful job of being the Thousand Oaks Church Secretary. She has served the Thousand Oaks church for the last 4 years.
